You have to stay here for atleast 2 nights! After visiting many spots in Kerala, Munnar is the more serene, scenic, nature filled spot. The sounds of the birds in the morning are unreal too and the traditional food is crazy good!

We stayed at The Wild Trails Munnar with family for 7 days and it honestly felt like a reset button. The property sits in the middle of nature, surrounded by tea estates and forest views, so you wake up to birds, clean air, and quiet instead of traffic.

What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff was genuinely helpful and professional, and they sterilized our baby bottles multiple times a day without us having to chase anyone. That kind of thoughtful care makes a huge difference when you are traveling with a baby.

The owner, Ajith Kumar, was also hands-on and welcoming. He checked in to make sure everything was comfortable, suggested places to visit around Munnar, and even helped arrange a trusted driver, which made local travel stress-free.

Food was another highlight, really tasty, comforting, and consistently good. Add the views and the calm atmosphere, and it becomes the kind of place where you rediscover the art of doing nothing, just sitting with peace and letting time slow down.

My wife and I had the most refreshing, relaxing and rejenuvationg stay for three days. Right from the moment we reached there, the staff was so very helpful and caring. Just leaning back and enjoying the woods, or dipping your feet in the stream lilstening to its sounds or even sitting quietly at the Bharavi shrine, was all extremely soothing. Long chats with our host over dinner gave us an insight into the local place and people. We also had an amazing adventurous jeep drive to waterfalls, trekked down to a tiger cave, went on a dirt track through dense forest and managed to see a wild elephant. This drive organised by WTC was vey exciting and enjoyable. The food here is just fantastic- its made to order and fresh. We tried once a restaurant in the town, but decided to stick to Wild Trails. I stayed in the resort for 3 nights for bird watching.  It was one of the best resorts I’ve stayed in remote areas. The room was clean and new. The staff were friendly and they arranged everything I requested ( Safari, transportation and guides). It’s a 5 star rating experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Beautiful and Memorable Couple Stay

We arrived at Wild Trails Munnar on 31st December, and from the moment we stepped in, we were completely mesmerized. The mountains and scenic views were breathtaking, and we simply couldn’t stop taking pictures from every angle.

The midnight New Year countdown was beautifully done and created such a special atmosphere. The gala dinner was the main highlight of our stay—absolutely delicious and thoughtfully arranged. It truly was the best way to welcome the New Year on January 1st.

The food was exceptional, beyond expectations, and deserves a special mention.

A heartfelt thank you to Ajith uncle for his warm hospitality and personal care, which made us feel truly at home.

The resort is very well maintained. Food is absolutely great and personalised. Mr Ajit and team take personal efforts to ensure guest safety, preference and comfort. The resort has stream inside which is must see and enjoy. There is also a temple, pls visit and get blessed. Morning tea plantation walk is very picturesque and morning pics are like wonderland. Recently stayed at this resort with family. The rooms were good and kept clean. The restaurant and the food served was tasty and felt homely. Did the jeep safari also and would definitely recommend if anyone is planning to stay. Overall great stay!
